If you’ve pledged a fraternity or sorority this semester, you’ve in for some pretty good times and some pretty astronomical expenses. That’s because Greek life is an activity that covers every part of you life, including your wardrobe.

The thick double knit fraternity that your boyfriend or girlfriend is sporting these days does not come cheap. In fact, almost any of those great custom Greek t shirts were probably pretty expensive depending on where you bought them.

In most college towns, there’s usually at least one t-shirt shop that caters to fraternity and sorority houses. But what that usually means is that these small shops have had a stranglehold on Fraternity Sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats for a pretty long time. So it’s not too surprising to find out these shops have been overcharging their customers for decades.

That’s where the good old Internet comes into play. Web based retailers don’t have to pay college town prices for rent and property, so they’re in a much better position to provide discounts on Sigma Phi Epsilon t-shirts and Kappa Kappa Gamma shorts.

Getting that Greek look does not have to bankrupt your entire family. Especially if you’re utilizing web power to get it.
